THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Kenosha and Racine Counties. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. Locations impacted include... Kenosha, Racine, Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Prairie, Sturtevant, Union Grove, Paddock Lake, Camp Lake, Wind Lake, Winthrop Harbor, Twin Lakes, Rochester, Raymond, Wheatland, Yorkville, Genoa City, Silver Lake, Wind Point, Powers Lake, and Browns Lake. Flood Advisory issued July 27 at 11:37AM CDT until July 27 at 2:45PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, Walworth and Waukesha. * WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1137 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
